Is your software cloud-based, installed or both?
Depending on the product, Margill software can be installed on your computer, server or is available in the Cloud.
What is the cost of the software options?
Margill Loan Manager pricing is based on the number of loans and users.
Margill Standard and Law Edition pricing is based on number of users.
Is there a monthly fee for the software?
A monthly fee applies to the SaaS and Web versions of Margill products. Licensed software has no monthly fees, but an optional annual fee covers maintenance, updates, and support (estimated at 20–30% of the retail price).
Is there an online portal where customers can log in to view their account information?
Yes for the SAAS (Cloud) offering of Margill Loan Manager.
Is an API available?
Several APIs are available for Margill Loan Manager, including Salesforce integration and data import/export via JSON and Excel files. New APIs are developed regularly, and the Margill team can also customize them to meet your specific needs.
Can your software be used on MacOS?
On Mac you’ll need to install a Windows emulation program such as Parallels. The Cloud version of Margill Loan Manager and the Web version of the Interest Calculation software (Standard and Law Editions) are available with most platforms (PC, Mac, Android).
Can we receive bank and credit payments through your software?
Yes you can. We have a partnerships or the standard format files with various providers in the United States, Canada, Europe and South Africa. File types: NACHA (US) and SEPA (Europe).
Does your software offer accounting functionality or can it be integrated with existing accounting platforms?
Yes you can create reports to export the General Ledger (GL) report to QuickBooks, Sage, Excel and CSV. The Margill team can also customize reports for any accounting software.
Does Margill offer training sessions?
Yes, training and support are included with all purchases of Margill Loan Manager. Additional training hours can also be purchased and banked for future use. On-site training is also available.
Is it possible to create forms such as letters, contracts, invoices and statements?
Yes. You can create your own templates. You can import Word documents (.doc or .docx) including logos, add the merge codes so the data is automatically filled in for loan/borrower data when the report is produced. You can mass send these as attached PDF documents by email and even include an eSignature.
Can we send text messages (SMS) through the software?
Yes in most countries.
Can we create custom reports?
Yes, various report types with over 1250 data fields to choose from.
Can Margill Loan Manager be customized?
Users can personalize the software (custom fields, custom transaction types, custom reports) or the Margill team can custom develop based on your specific needs.
Is Margill Loan Manager multi-currency?
Yes you can add any currency along with the currecny exchagne rates
Can Margill software handle variable interest rates?
All Margill products support both fixed or variable interest rates.
