We use G Suite for these but when I test the email connection if get a message saying the Google blocked the app since it is a less secure app. What can be done?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: We see this once in a while when using GSuite.<\/p>\n<p>Margill has no control over this since Margill simply sends a request to the Gmail (or other) SMTP server and this server checks your User name and Password and accepts to send the email or not. Pretty straightforward stuff, no big technology behind this&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>However, GSuite or other mail providers may not accept the communication since it is sent by a software that they do not recognize and may give you a message such as:<\/p>\n<p id=\"cCMbhne\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10150 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/margill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/img_5dcd971455660.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"371\" height=\"248\" srcset=\"https:\/\/margill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/img_5dcd971455660.png 488w, https:\/\/margill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/img_5dcd971455660-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/margill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/img_5dcd971455660-450x301.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 371px) 100vw, 371px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You will thus have to allow your email account to <em>communicate<\/em> with Margill. Log into the G Suite Admin Console (https:\/\/gsuite.google.com). You must be the G Suite administrator.\u00a0Go into security settings and click &#8220;Allow users to manage their own access to less secure apps&#8221;.\u00a0Then go into your own Gmail settings and turn on the &#8220;Allow access to less secure apps (not recommended)&#8221;.\u00a0Google will tell you a number of times that this is unsafe.<\/p>\n<p>This should now allow the communication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Q: I have set up automatic emails in Margill Loan Manager.
