How do we update the interest rates for multiple records at once?

Question: 

The Prime rate changed. How do we update the interest rates for multiple records at once?

Answer:

Since we don’t want just anyone to change rates easily, we decided not to let users change the rates with the usual right mouse click. We hid it  just a little more and created the following shortcut: Ctrl Alt Shift i (BTW, all shortcuts can be seen with F2).

You highlight the desired Records in the Main Margill window (Records will be shown in blue), then do the shortcut.

You have custom field that shows you which records use the Prime rate? If so, you sort with this field and only choose these Records. So all done in less than a minute. If you don’t have a custom field with the interest rate type, then create this field and can use Global changes to set which Records use which types of interest rates.
